How it started.
Sujan started with an ecommerce site in the early 2000s. The business failed, but learning to bring visitors to it sparked a lasting interest in SEO. Those skills carried into the marketing agency Single Grain.

In January 2015, Sujan and Rob Wormley introduced 100 Days of Growth, a book of practical growth tactics. Sujan later wrote that they had sold 500 copies before writing it, using those early orders to test demand.
From marketing to software.
Sujan founded the business that became Mailshake in 2015, initially as ContentMarketer.io. Their work also includes Web Profits and SaaS businesses such as Right Inbox. Alongside building companies, Sujan shares lessons through articles and sales interviews.
