How it started.
Born and raised in Sydney, Tara began sharing fashion, DIY and lifestyle work on YouTube and Blogspot in 2013, adding Instagram outfit photos later that year. Tumblr and fashion videos helped shape an interest that grew into paid work over several years.
Finding their rhythm.
Tara says content creation became a full-time career in 2021 / 2022. Rather than naming one sudden breakout, Tara remembers smaller milestones, from the first thousand followers to sponsored work. A CASETiFY collection later brought digital drawing into that creative mix.
A wardrobe with a point of view.
In interviews, Tara describes a style shaped by accessories, secondhand finds and Chinese-Indonesian heritage. Batik skirts and Chinese jackets from a grandmother sit alongside experimental layering. Hair, makeup and candid conversations about eczema are also part of the work fans follow.
