How it started.
An early part of Theo’s story is Hot and Cool, the independent fashion and art magazine co-founded with stylist Alice Goddard. In 2014, W profiled the publication four years after its founding, describing a magazine drawn to vintage clothes and artists’ earlier work rather than the latest trends.
Finding an audience.
Dazed included Theo in its 2016 Dazed 100 selection. Its profile highlighted photographs that place beauty alongside everyday settings, including fields and suburban gardens. The magazine also documented the creative partnership with Alice Goddard, a collaboration that continues in Theo’s editorial work.
On the page and beyond.
Theo photographed an outdoor fashion story styled by Alice Goddard for i-D’s Winter 2020 anniversary issue. In December 2022, Hot and Cool returned with issue 13 after a four-year hiatus, including photography by Theo styled by Max Pearmain. Recent projects include Palace Holiday 2025, Stefan Cooke autumn/winter 2025 and a 2026 cover story for The Face.
