Mini bio

How it started.

Trey’s YouTube channel dates to March 2013. Early work applied science to popular fiction, including Jurassic Park and Gravity Falls. The channel developed recurring Paleo Profile videos about prehistoric animals alongside investigations of cryptid claims.

Following the questions.

Over time, archaeology and ancient history became a larger part of the channel. The Archaeology Iceberg Explained brought together obscure finds and stories in 2021, while The Oldest Joke: Is Humor Timeless? explored ancient comedy in 2023. Trey’s descriptions include citations and acknowledgments so curious viewers can follow the research further.

Behind the videos.

On Patreon, Trey describes researching subjects that personally interest him and says supporter funding helps sustain the work. He offers sneak previews and occasional additional content. In December 2023, he released Reveal, thanking viewers and sharing a face reveal.

Taking the research outside.

In summer 2025, Trey traveled almost 5,000 miles across America to recreate the route of a fictional race from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. His March 2026 documentary follows that journey. Later in 2026, Ancient Cribs turned archaeological remains into reconstructions of historical homes, including a building claimed to be Jesus’ childhood home.
