Mini bio

How it started.

Trish’s sales career began while she was waiting tables at Ken’s Steakhouse. In an interview with Cien, she recalled that a technology executive who regularly ate there offered her a sales job after she challenged him to hire her. She went on to build and lead sales groups.

Building something of her own.

Before founding The Bridge Group in 1998, Trish was a VP of Sales and equity partner at Telesales, Inc. She wanted technology companies to treat inside sales as a strategic part of the business. Consulting became a way to teach that approach.

The book fans know.

Published in 2016, The Sales Development Playbook organizes her approach around strategy, specialization, recruiting, retention, execution, and leadership. The Bridge Group says it has sold more than 50,000 copies. Trish credits author Jill Konrath with encouraging her to write it.

A new chapter.

In 2026, after 28 years, Trish stepped back from running The Bridge Group day to day, passing leadership to Kyle Smith. Her official biography says she remains connected to the firm; her own announcement describes an advisory role.
