Mini bio
A camera at seven.
Zach’s parents gave him a video camera when he was seven, and his family became his first audience. By 2008, he was sharing Final Cut Pro editing tips online under the name FinalCutKing.

His 2011 short Jedi Kittens gave lightsabers to two cats and became his breakout viral video. He went on to build an audience for short magic videos on Vine, where editing and visual jokes made impossible little moments feel real.

Based in Los Angeles, Zach works with a team on digital illusions and short films. King Studio has partnered with Disney, Apple, Sony, Nike and Coca-Cola. His channels also let fans look behind the scenes at the stunts and filmmaking that create the magic.

Zach brought his storytelling to children’s fiction with My Magical Life in 2017, the first book in a fantasy trilogy. His other credits include a voice role in Disney’s Zootopia and competing with his wife Rachel on season 28 of The Amazing Race.
