How it started.
Ale came to facial yoga while looking for a natural approach to changes she noticed in her own face. El Comercio described her moving from personal practice into introductory workshops and plans for a space to train instructors.
Finding her audience.
By November 2020, El Comercio reported that she had been sharing facial massage on Instagram for about a year and a half. She opened TikTok that July and reached a reported 118,000 followers by November, bringing her teaching to an audience beyond Ecuador.
Building UYA.
Her work now spans UYA Face Yoga and UYA Academy, with online lessons, in-person workshops and professional training. Her official biography names collaborations with Dior, MAC, Nivea, CoverGirl, Pond’s and L’Oréal, alongside teaching work in Latin America and Europe.
