How it started.
Seeing plus-size models while shopping online gave Alex a way to imagine a modeling career. In 2009, they sent Facebook photos to Torrid, received an invitation to a go-see and booked a first shoot.
Making room.
Alex’s work grew to include Ashley Stewart campaigns, a February 2016 PLUS Model Magazine cover and eight-page editorial, and a JCPenney runway appearance at New York Fashion Week in fall 2016. Through #VisiblyPlusSize, they have pushed for broader representation in fashion.
Style and self-care.
