How it started.
Aliss says she began creating on Instagram at 20. In her 2025 Substack essay, she describes the page as closely tied to her life and thanks the creators and followers who helped her grow.
Finding her voice.
Her candid approach to plus-size fashion found a wider audience in 2017, when a post about poorly fitting bikinis drew coverage from Allure. It put an everyday frustration into words and called attention to the need for more inclusive swimwear.
Building a creative life.
In her interview with The Otter, Aliss described building confidence through Instagram and making clothing try-on reviews as brands began approaching her. She studied American Studies and English Literature at the University of Nottingham and began sharing subscription content on OnlyFans in April 2020.
