Mini bio
How it started.
Ready to Stare began as her handmade accessories and clothing line in 2012; the blog followed in 2013. A friend’s weekly selfie challenge brought her style into view. Brand deals helped her go full time in 2014.
Making room.
She came out to her followers in 2017. Her work now connects fashion, LGBTQ+ travel and diabetes advocacy. In 2023, she started the plus-size resale business Secondhand Stare.
On the road.
In 2026, she brought archival research and community interviews together in a Route 66 reporting series for The Advocate.
