Mini bio

How it started.

Amanda grew up in Connecticut and South Florida. Her official biography says she moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to pursue acting, then began making her own videos to build a reel. She taught herself to write, film, edit, produce and direct her work.

Finding her people.

Vine gave her a place to make short comedy sketches and meet collaborators. In a 2016 interview, she described a small community of creators finding one another and making videos together. Her audience followed her into longer sketches on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

Building beyond the feed.

She co-founded Zeus with King Bach, DeStorm Power and producer Lemuel Plummer. Its July 2018 launch included her series A Taste of Dance, where she learns routines with professional dancers. Her screen work includes Rim of the World, and she appears in Gippy Grewal’s Where Baby Where music video.

The other sides of Amanda.

Fitness and animal advocacy run through her work too. Her official biography describes a childhood spent training in karate, and she made an infomercial-style vegan comedy video with PETA in 2018. More recently, she has shared the arrival of twins and her engagement to Johannes Bartl with fans.
