Animalogic began in 2014. Its main series pairs Danielle Dufault’s scientific illustrations with close looks at animal biology and behavior. Dufault is a Toronto paleoartist whose work includes illustration for the Royal Ontario Museum.

Fans helped it grow.

The team surveyed viewers about what they wanted to learn next, then developed Floralogic, World of Birds and Paleologic. Its Shorty Awards entry singled out the 2021 Floralogic plant episode as a viral success, reporting nearly five million views at the time.

Beyond the channel.

Strange Creatures of the Arctic brought Animalogic to BBC Earth in Canada in August 2022, with Dufault presenting a documentary about animals adapted to extreme cold.
