Mini bio
How it started.
Dorian Rahimzadeh grew up in Tehran with a father who dealt in Persian rugs and a creative mother. Sewing and pattern-making courses in Tehran led to fashion studies at LaSalle College in Istanbul. She arrived in Canada in 2015.
Finding her audience.
When finding fashion work in Canada proved difficult, Dorian began sharing her personal style on Instagram. That audience helped her create a path for her own label. Its signature mixes Iranian and East Asian art influences with bold proportions and clothes designed across gender and age.
Clothes with a point of view.
Her made-to-order approach uses deadstock fabrics and repurposed clothing. Noor drew on the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, while OFF COURT brought Persian rug imagery together with basketball references. In 2023, she won CAFA’s Award for Emerging Talent, Fashion.
