Mini bio
How it started.
Emili began as a fashion assistant at Denmark’s Cover magazine. In an Envelope interview, Emili recalled being offered a full-time stylist job after just a few months. Freelance work followed, alongside styling for Eurowoman and the hosts of Go’ Morgen Danmark and Go’ Aften Danmark.
Finding an audience.
Emili’s personal outfits found an audience on Instagram while magazine work continued. In a 2018 ELLE interview, Emili described that growth and signing with Social Zoo to develop the creator side of the career. That same year brought ELLE’s Style Icon of the Year award.
Making things to wear.
Design collaborations became another outlet for Emili’s colour combinations. A spring/summer 2023 capsule with ABOUT YOU mixed pastel shades with sequins, mesh and metallic finishes. By 2026, Emili had joined Sindleva as creative director, with capsule collections planned for the jewellery brand.
A matcha chapter.
Emili co-founded Odd Balance and serves as its creative director. The brand brings the stylist’s playful visual approach to Japanese matcha, with recipes and ideas intended to make it easy to enjoy in everyday life.
