How it started.
Emily began growing an online audience in earnest in 2011, sharing meals, workouts and fitness competition experiences on Blogspot. In an interview with Inside Gold Coast, Emily explained that changing their own exercise and eating habits inspired them to help other women make positive changes.
Finding a community.
The online workout business grew into Emily Skye FIT. Forbes placed Emily third in its first global fitness influencer ranking in 2017. Today, FIT brings together strength workouts, meal plans and dedicated pregnancy and postpartum programs.
Beyond the workouts.
In 2017, Emily co-founded James Cosmetics with Sam Mangan. The skincare business began with a gold and collagen eye mask. Beauty had been a long-standing interest: Emily earned a beautician certification in 2006.

Alongside fitness and beauty, Emily talks about body image, parenthood and mental health. Recent interviews with Jules Sebastian and Emilee Hembrow explore confidence, perfectionism and the experience of balancing work with family life.
