Mini bio
How it started.
Jennifer built confidence baking for neighborhood picnics and family parties in summer 2017. That December she started an Instagram feed, followed by Beyond the Butter in March 2018. Her late Grammy’s dessert recipes inspired the blog.
What to bake first.
Her grandmother’s Pennsylvania Dutch Chocolate Funny Cake remains her personal favorite. The site also explores cookies, cakes and small-batch desserts, with photography and instructions for home bakers.
