How it started.
Jesse created Your Daily Dose of Self Love in 2018 after years of struggling with body image. Negative comments initially led them to stop posting. In a 2023 interview with the Revelstoke Mountaineer, Jesse described returning with more confidence and wanting to help people appreciate themselves at every size.
Finding their voice.
Humor is part of the message. Jesse mixes comedy and reaction videos with body-confidence content. On Life Lessons with Leesh in May 2025, they discussed fatphobia, confidence and being yourself.
Beyond the feed.
Jesse also created My Daily Dose of Self Love on Studio. The app offers affirmations, journaling prompts and self-care challenges. Jesse says they wrote and tested its modules, drawing on their own experience of learning self-acceptance.
