How it started.
Marissa began a fashion media career at ELLE in 2010, later working at InStyle, Clique and goop. Fashion Ambitionist launched in 2015 as a personal project for readers interested in style and careers.
A wider audience.
Posting as Fashion Ambitionist and then using the surname Fuchs, Marissa drew wider attention in June 2019 when a proposal journey with Gabriel Grossman played out on Instagram and ended with a Paris wedding.
Making the everyday uniform.
Bodysuits were a regular part of Marissa’s work wardrobe, but finding comfortable ones proved frustrating. That search became Shop Ambitionist, whose first collection offered four styles in two colorways.
