Mini bio
How it started.
Born and raised in Delhi, Mehak enjoyed exploring food spots with family and friends. At college she joined Spoon DU as a photo director and developed a love for photographing food. She launched her own page on 1 July 2016, during her third year.
Finding her audience.
She first shared food discoveries on her personal profile, using her college pocket money to explore new places. Encouragement from friends and family helped her turn that interest into a dedicated blog. Her work grew to cover street food, cafés and restaurant experiences. In 2022, Slurrp featured her gulab jamun ice cream roll reel.
Beyond the food feed.
In 2023, she returned to Jesus and Mary College as a TEDx speaker for “Unapologetically You.” The talk traced her experiences with self-doubt and social expectations, and her path toward self-acceptance. In 2025, she received a Special Mention at the Power Creator Awards’ Indulgence Edition.
