Mini bio

How it started.

London-born Natalia studied sociology before taking a different path into food. In an interview with Elaine Field, she described a solo trip to India that changed her relationship with cooking and daily life. Back in London, she began working with clients as a chef, trainer and yoga teacher.

Finding her audience.

Private chef work took her to places including the Bahamas, Canada and France. As the travel became tiring, she committed to posting recipes three times a week. Her approachable after-work cooking became a signature: in a November 2026 newsletter, she recalled filming a lemony pea pasta with little in the fridge and discovering an audience for simple, affordable meals.

From screen to kitchen shelf.

Her first cookbook, Cooking Fast and Slow, came out in May 2025 and reached number five on the Sunday Times Hardback Nonfiction Manuals chart. Its chapters help readers choose meals by the time they have available. In 2026 she also founded DRZZL, offering separate olive oils for cooking and finishing food.
