Mini bio
How it started.
After moving to Noida, Nisha stopped commuting to her husband’s office, where she had helped with finance and accounts. A food blog inspired her to share her own recipes in 2007. Readers began asking for videos, and her first published YouTube video followed in May 2011.
Finding her audience.
Her family helped turn the blog into a website and filming setup. Her husband shot early videos before leaving for work. Readers followed her onto YouTube, where her plain explanations and familiar ingredients helped home cooks learn vegetarian dishes without onion or garlic.
Beyond the channel.
Her work expanded into recipe writing for The Indian Express. In 2017, she received the Top YouTube Cooking Content Creator award at the Social Media Summit & Awards. In 2025, Star Plus announced Nisha Madhulika’s Kitchen, bringing her cooking to television alongside characters from its shows.
