Mini bio

How it started.

Raeann grew up in Colorado and began fashion blogging in college because she wanted to see trends on a body like her own. In her CHEERS! interview, she recalled studying magazine journalism, working at Better Homes and Gardens, then taking outfit photos on lunch breaks while working at a branding agency.

Finding her voice.

She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue curve modeling and found herself drawn to work where her personality mattered alongside the clothes. Her outfit videos and swimwear reviews made room for women looking for midsize and plus-size style inspiration. In 2020 she began The Bikini Breakdown to review how different swimwear brands fit curvy bodies.

Building a community.

With Kristina Zias, Raeann cofounded The Confident Collective, a community built around confidence and connection. They also cohosted its podcast, discussing body image, friendships and everyday life. In 2025, she became one of six SI Swim Search finalists and walked the SI Swimsuit runway in Miami.

Her New York life and personal style run through Ahead of the Curve, where she publishes shopping edits, outfit guides and personal essays. Recent editions cover Copenhagen Fashion Week, bridal shopping and clothes available in bigger sizes.
