Mini bio
Finding his voice.
Rickey grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. In interviews, he has described being shy and bullied at school, then coming home to talk about those experiences on camera. Making videos gave him a way to connect with people who understood.
From Vine to Instagram.
He began sharing videos in 2013, and a repost from Kylie Jenner helped his Vine audience grow. After Vine, he experimented with YouTube fashion videos before returning to the spontaneous rants and dancing that felt most like him. Posting regularly on Instagram brought a new audience.
Beyond the phone camera.
Rickey played Dakota in the YouTube Red comedy Foursome and later appeared as Kenny in Swarm. His voice also runs through interludes on Aminé’s 2018 project ONEPOINTFIVE. In 2020, he and Denzel Dion launched We Said What We Said on Spotify, bringing their friendship and pop-culture conversations to a podcast.
Fashion as expression.
Modelling has become another part of his work, including the Savage x Fenty show and magazine shoots. In his 2026 GQ México interview, he described a lifelong love of fashion and the confidence that comes from dressing in a way that feels like himself.
