Mini bio
How it started.
Before Foodie Actor Engineer became his online name, Rohit was already taking food photos and videos and writing on Zomato. In his 2020 Eat My News interview, he said a friend encouraged him to start an Instagram page at the beginning of 2018.
Three sides of Rohit.
The name reflects his interests and training: a food lover, a qualified computer engineer and a professional actor. K.C. College of Engineering’s profile says he followed engineering with a diploma in film acting and performed in Marathi plays including Aaranyak, Daryabhawani and Kala Ghoda, as well as the mime play Bharari.
A growing food journey.
Restaurant and product reviews led to hotel and resort invitations, helping turn his food hobby into travel work. By his December 2023 interview, Rohit said his food, travel and lifestyle collaborations supported him financially. His recent posts continue that mix, from Pune restaurant visits to a monsoon stay in Lonavala.
