Mini bio
How it started.
Before the outfit posts and seasonal vlogs, Rosey pursued acting and comedy. In a first-person essay for The Curvy Fashionista, Rosey described living in Los Angeles from 2011 to 2015, training, making a web series and returning to Texas. A later interview with Erin Darling traced the move from retail into fashion blogging and online video.
Finding an audience.
Rosey reached a wider audience with the viral 2018 Plane Bae Twitter thread about two fellow passengers. After criticism over privacy, Rosey publicly apologized. Later, TikTok videos examined body-shaming in celebrity culture and the portrayal of supposedly fat characters in film and television.
Style and everyday life.
In an April 2023 introduction, Rosey said they had been a style influencer for seven years and had just moved to New York with their husband and cats. Budget-friendly fashion, beauty and decor remain central, alongside travel videos that follow a love of books, historic places and the seasons.
On the microphone.
Rosey and Ashlee Hartley co-hosted Two Blonde Bimbos, a podcast mixing pop culture with conversations about their daily thoughts, obstacles and obsessions. The show also had a video edition.
