Mini bio

Starting with sketches.

Ryan built his early comedy work in Montreal. His professional profile dates Moving Mind Studio to 2010, and he developed projects with fellow members Samuel Brisson and Brandon Calder.

Making series together.

With Moving Mind Studio, he co-created and starred in Campus Law for Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud network. The trio also created Explaining to an Alien for Just for Laughs, turning ordinary human customs into awkward lessons for a visitor from another planet.

Inside the meeting room.

Pitch Meeting began on Screen Rant in November 2017. Ryan credits John Mulaney’s stand-up bit about pitching Back to the Future as its inspiration. Playing both an enthusiastic screenwriter and an agreeable producer, he turns questionable movie decisions into cheerful conversations. The series received its own channel in March 2022.

More ways to talk to himself.

His own sketches ask how familiar things might have begun, or how a roomful of people could have agreed on their names. Alongside those recurring formats, Ryan George Extra Plus! gives him space for commentary on internet culture, technology and extravagant homes.
