Mini bio
Around the family table.
Sarah grew up in the South of France, cooking with her father and Italian grandmother. Her family ran a small restaurant, and making pasta and sharing long lunches shaped her love of food. She first studied law in Aix-en-Provence before travel brought her to Australia, where she met her partner Cam.
From clinic to kitchen.
After training in nutrition and working with clients, Sarah began writing recipes she could recommend to them. Plantbaes grew from those practical meals into a blog in 2022. Her focus remains whole-food recipes that bring together flavor, protein and fiber.
Finding her audience.
Sarah and Cam recalled starting Instagram videos in late 2021. She brought nutrition knowledge and a love of cooking; he brought a video background. Sarah identifies her healthy seeded crackers as her first viral video. Her one-ingredient buckwheat bread became another signature recipe and appears in The Ultimate Plant-Based Cookbook, released in 2024 with photography by Cam Crawley.
