How it started.
Sibtain began by singing and playing covers, giving familiar songs his own arrangements. Nescafé Basement’s third season gave him a wider platform: he performed his original “Sajna” and collaborated on “Allah Hoo.” His own upload of the Basement performance credits him with writing and composing “Sajna,” with music produced by Xulfi.
Songs fans stayed with.
He revisited “Sajna” with Leo Twins in 2017, then introduced “Nai Jeena” as his second original in 2020. He wrote, composed and sang it, with Zain Zohaib contributing qawwali vocals and Sabeeka Imam appearing in the video. An unplugged version with Leo Twins followed, announced on his channel as a celebration of the original passing 1.5 million views.
A voice for television.
His work also reaches drama audiences. ARY Digital credits him as singer and co-lyricist of “Akhiyaan,” the Woh Pagal Si theme. HUM TV credits him among the singers and lyricists of the Fairy Tale 2 soundtrack, alongside Adrian David and Nish Ashar on vocals.
