Mini bio
How it started.
Stina grew up in France, surrounded by croissants and éclairs, and loved spending time in kitchens as a child. She discovered vegan cooking in 2008. Her publisher and SWR date the start of her Veganpassion food blog to 2010.
From IT to the kitchen.
Her early Veganpassion book helped turn recipe sharing into a career. In the autobiographical introduction to Vegan Backen, she says she left her project-management job in 2014 after her first book. Cookbooks, teaching and television became the next chapter.
Classics made plant-based.
Her books explore French pâtisserie alongside German favourites, from Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte to Bienenstich. Vegan Backen von A bis Z appeared in 2020 and received a silver medal from the Gastronomische Akademie Deutschlands in 2021. Vegan Kochen followed in 2022, and Work-Lunch-Balance in 2026 focuses on quick vegan lunches.
Helping others begin.
Alongside food, Stina works with women building businesses. She co-founded the Plant Based Institute in 2016 and the Mindful Women network in 2018; FEMschool followed in 2021. Her work connects practical kitchen teaching with support for people starting something of their own.
