How it started.
Tash’s interest in clothes began at home, watching a stylish mother combine special purchases with pieces she made herself. After studying fashion design, Tash found a better fit in the business side of the industry: manufacturing, production and buying. In a Parlour X interview, Tash described spending 13 years at General Pants and becoming head of womenswear.
The blog that changed things.
Tash met Elle Ferguson at General Pants. Their shared fashion interests became They All Hate Us, a blog that grew into an online retail business and a wider public profile. The pair went on to co-host the makeover show Style Squad on Foxtel’s Style Network in 2016–17.
Helping people feel like themselves.
Where Did Your Style Go? grew out of the fashion questions Tash received through social media and in person. The consultancy brings that retail knowledge into practical advice about dressing and feeling comfortable in your clothes. Tash also makes art with sister Hayley Segedin through Sefton Segedin, founded in 2015, and designed an organic, vegan sneaker collaboration with Superga in 2021.
