Mini bio
A dentist who loves to cook.
Alisha describes herself as a dentist whose favourite creative outlet is cooking. Her channel is built around recipes that people can follow at home with a simple kitchen setup. You can find cakes made on a tawa alongside sweets, snacks and everyday meals.
Building her recipe collection.
Her YouTube channel was created on 3 June 2012. One widely watched recipe is her March 2023 chocolate cake made with Oreo biscuits, milk and baking powder or Eno, without eggs or an oven.
A snack that travelled.
In November 2023, NDTV Food covered her bird’s nest snack after it reached 19 million views on Instagram. Potato and paneer form the nests, vermicelli makes the crisp coating, and small paneer shapes stand in for eggs. The recipe also appeared in NDTV Food’s roundup of ten viral recipes of 2023.
What she is making now.
Her October and November 2026 uploads move between festive sweets and savoury dishes: rasmalai pudding, sevai barfi, makhana and pistachio bars, soya tacos and moong dal sandwiches. The recipe descriptions give ingredient lists so fans can cook along.
