Mini bio
How it started.
Anjali began working as a software developer in 2020. During lockdown, working from home left her time to explore her love of food and start posting online. In her September 2022 Pioneer interview, she described that hobby becoming her full-time career.
Finding her audience.
By September 2022, The Pioneer reported more than one million YouTube subscribers. On So Saute, she mixes food reviews and challenges with recipes, from street-food experiments to a 30 Days Waffle Challenge. Her mango and watermelon cutter review is another example of her kitchen-product tests.
The person behind the videos.
In a 2023 interview, she recalled cooking late-night snacks for herself and her sister during COVID-19. She developed the name So Saute with help from friends and family, then left her job as the channel grew. She said creative freedom was her favorite part of the work.
