Mini bio

Before the kitchen.

Catherine grew up in Kentucky and worked as a model, television host and actor before pursuing cooking. In her own account, a Calvin Klein campaign booked while she was still in high school helped her modeling career take off. She later appeared in Victoria’s Secret shows and on magazine covers including Elle and Glamour.

How Weelicious started.

After studying at New York’s Institute of Culinary Education and staging in restaurant kitchens, Catherine faced a surprisingly unfamiliar challenge: feeding her first baby. She started Weelicious in 2007 after her son was born, sharing recipes and cooking videos to help other parents find their feet too.

From baby food to the family table.

Weelicious grew from a guide for parents feeding babies and toddlers into a recipe resource for the whole household. Her first cookbook arrived in 2012, followed by Weelicious Lunches, Smoothie Project and Meal Prep Magic. Her television work includes judging on Guy’s Grocery Games, and she also co-founded the family food company One Potato.

A new chapter.

In July 2026 she introduced Seasoned, a newsletter that makes room for personal essays, travel, parenting and life beyond the early feeding years. Food still sits at its center, while Weelicious continues as her recipe home.
