Mini bio
How it started.
Diksha grew up in Guwahati and moved to Delhi in 2013 to study journalism and mass communication. An interest in storytelling led to a digital marketing agency while they were still in college. In interviews, they connect their body-confidence work to the bullying and body shaming they experienced growing up.
Finding a community.
Their creator career began with sharing personal experiences rather than a plan to become an influencer. Diksha told ABP Live that they began treating the page as a creator platform after reaching around 20,000 followers. Their work includes plus-size clothing recommendations and responses to comments about bigger bodies.
A love of accessories.
When clothes shopping offered too few choices, jewellery became a way to experiment with fashion. Diksha told The Better India they launched A Little Extra in August 2020 with Rs 5,000. The business grew from small batches of earrings into a wider accessories range and reached Shark Tank India in 2024.
