How it started.
Ella began Deliciously Ella in 2012, sharing plant-based recipes from her parents’ kitchen. After becoming seriously unwell at university, she started exploring a different way of eating and created the recipes she struggled to find elsewhere.
From blog to bookshelf.
Cooking classes and supper clubs followed as the website grew. Her first cookbook arrived in 2015 and became the UK’s best-selling debut cookbook. That year Matthew Mills joined the business as CEO, and their first cafe opened in December.
Cooking for busy days.
Her later books focus on making plant-based cooking fit everyday life. Healthy Made Simple offers speedy recipes, while Quick Wins adds meal plans and shopping lists. She also co-hosts The Wellness Scoop with Rhiannon Lambert and writes the newsletter Learning To Live Well with Ella Mills.
