Mini bio
How it started.
Jordan grew up with an American father and a Korean mother, whose cooking helped shape his taste for Asian flavors and American barbecue. In a Bear Mountain interview, he recalled trying ribs while visiting his sister in Ohio, then teaching himself barbecue through online videos, websites and plenty of practice.
Finding his audience.
He started sharing his cooks on Instagram as Ninjacue. His earlier work photographing weddings and families helped him develop his food photography. His chopped Italian sandwich became a signature recipe; its page now reports more than 25 million views.
Beyond the backyard.
Jordan says his recipes have been featured on Good Morning America, The Drew Barrymore Show and Sherri. His work now also includes his own seasoning range and brand collaborations, including becoming Southern Steer Butcher’s first brand ambassador in May 2026.
