Mini bio
From the family kitchen.
Manon grew up on a farm in Brittany and learned to bake with her mother and grandmother. She moved to London as an au pair, where the city’s bakeries helped turn that early grounding into a passion of her own.
Into the tent.
She reached the quarter-finals of The Great British Bake Off in 2018. Her precise bakes drew on her French upbringing, discoveries in London and travels. She later returned to win the 2023 New Year special.
Recipes to live with.
After Bake Off, she built a career sharing recipes online. Et Voilà! arrived in 2023, followed by Chez Manon in 2024 and La Saison in 2026. Her books connect French family recipes with practical home cooking, hosting and the seasons.
A long road to print.
In her own account of becoming an author, Manon says it took three years and two proposals to secure her first cookbook deal. Her newsletter, My Little French Life, now makes room for recipes, publishing stories and the everyday meals she cooks for her family.
