How it started.
Anja began byanjushka in 2015 during her bachelor’s studies. On her About page, she describes starting therapy in October that year and posting on Instagram shortly afterwards, sharing her story and recipes as she recovered from an eating disorder and depression.
Food that feels familiar.
Her Polish roots and childhood dishes shape her cooking. She focuses on making familiar favourites vegan with everyday ingredients, and works as a recipe developer, food photographer and food stylist.
From blog to bookshelf.
Her first cookbook, Einfach Glücklich Vegan, came out in January 2021, bringing together more than 60 recipes. Einfach schnell vegan followed in January 2023 with meals made in under 30 minutes. In November 2025 she added Weihnachtlich vegan, devoted to festive cooking and baking.
